Safe Travels with MG Pilot
MG Pilot is a suite of innovative safety features to make your driving experience as smooth, safe and simple as possible. This includes everything from monitoring your speed to alerting you to potential safety hazards.
Adaptive Cruise Control
Adaptive Cruise Control uses smart technology to monitor the road ahead of you. So long as the road is clear, ACC maintains the speed set by the driver. The system will detect if a car in front slows down and will alter the speed accordingly. If the driver ahead speeds up or changes lanes, ACC will accelerate back to the original set speed. This smart system helps prevent any collisions.
Blind Spot Detection
Blind Spot Detection (BSD) keeps a lookout to help you change lanes safety. Using a radar sensor, it detects vehicles approaching the blind spots to the left and right rear of the vehicle. It will then alert the driver with a visual signal that appears next to the door mirror.

Intelligent High Beam Assist
Intelligent High Beam Assist will automatically adjust your lights to suit your surroundings. When the headlight high beam is set to the AUTO position, the system will automatically switch to low beam if it detects a vehicle ahead of you. This prevents dazzling the oncoming driver.
Active Emergency Braking
Active Emergency Braking (AEB) is a smart technology that reacts fast to reduce the change of collision. At speeds below 19km/h, the car will automatically brake to avoid colliding with a vehicle, bike, or pedestrian. At speeds above 19km/h, AEB will reduce the likelihood or severity of an accident.
Lane Keep Assist
Lane Keep Assist (LKA) uses a camera to detect the road markings and monitor the car’s position in the lane. If the function detects the vehicle is about to move out of the lane, it alerts the driver by means of a visual alert, audible alert, and steering wheel vibration. LKA also controls the steering to keep within the road markings.
